Quilt Event: Guest Exhibitor in Whangamata
Need a creative weekend away? Well this quilt event is the perfect opportunity over King's birthday weekend. As guest exhibitor I will have on show my Tic Tac Toe piece featured on this flyer, winner of Best in Show and Best Modern Quilt at Aotearoa Quilters in 2025 come and see this piece up close and see if you agree with the judges. My 'Who Is Man?' series will be displayed altogether for the first time, these are all highly detailed art quilts, a delicious feast for the eyes. Plus more of my award winning quilts will also be on show.
I taught my Kintsugi class to this delightful group and they will have the results of their work exhibited at the show alongside my original class samples.
Especially for this quilting event I have created some small art quilts for sale including some newly created individual cards and card packs.
Quilt Event : Guest Exhibitor in Nelson
My Who Is Man? series will be featured in Nelson to accompany Motueka Quilting group's exhibition. This series explores who we are as humans from minute people to oversized human heads. How do we achieve an reasonable balance as individuals in our very unbalanced world?
This is a fabulous group of enthusiastic quilters who I had the pleasure of teaching my Slice of Heaven class to. It will be great to see what further work they have created since my last visit.
